Read Across America

TCAC celebrated Dr. Seuss birthday as part of the Read Across America initiative on March 2, 2021.  An email with the virtual classroom presentation link was sent to the three school systems in Talladega County:
                                                    

• Paula Bruno, Principal – Indian Valley Elem

• Brittany Johnson, Asst. Principal - Houston Elementary              

• Scarlet Thomas, Principal- A. H. Watwood  Elementary

The link included an introduction, Kid -Friendly Bio of Theodor Seuss Geisel and Virtual   Reading of two of Dr. Seuss’s Books for March 2 celebration for all students in the schools.

Dr. Seuss Hats and Bookmarkers were delivered to the schools.

• Pre-K classes - 130 students

• Kindergarten classes – 268 students

• Total students 398
